Agenda Item Notes
1. Welcome & Introduction Vincent thanked and welcomed all attendees to the third gathering for the Listening Living Labs with Migrant Worker Communities. He then gave a quick recap of the organizing structure and process of the Listening Living Labs with Migrant Worker Communities.
**Vandhana** then gave a quick recap of what happened in the last session and the key objectives of the session as to have a space for teams to share their progress with other teams, pitch their ideas and receive feedback and strengthen bonds of the collective.

| | 2. Preparation for Pitch | Vincent then gave a quick recap of the points that team had to cover during their 10 minute pitch: ****
1. Introduce yourselves and start with your team cheer 2. Provide your idea statement as a refresher 3. At the end of the 6 months, what does a successful prototype look like for you? 4. What are the key milestones you foresee in the next 6 months? 5. What are the exact resources that we need for this prototype to succeed? 6. What are some of the risks you see and how do you mitigate them? | | 3. Briefing on Pitch Format | Vincent also briefed everyone on the format of the pitch:
1. The order of the teams was chosen using Wheel of Names. 2. Each team had 10 minutes to pitch their idea. 3. For each team, a pre-selected multi-sector panel of 3 or 4 “judges” had to give verbal feedback to the teams on one thing they liked about the team’s pitch and one suggestion they would like to make to help the team move forward. Everyone in the collective therefore had a chance to give and receive feedback. 4. The other participants who were not on the panel shared their feedback via post-its.
| | 4. Pitch and Panel Feedback Time | Teams took turns to pitch their ideas to the collective (facilitated by Anthea).
The order of the team pitches were:

  1. Melting Pot 2. Toblerone Teeth 3. Cool Changemakers 4. Interim Good Company 5. Team (No) Ali Baba 6. History Buffs

    1. What is one thing we want to celebrate today? 2. What is one thing that stuck out for me in the feedback? 3. What is one thing we absolutely need to do to successfully launch our idea in September? | | 6. Large Group Sharing | In a large group sharing, teams took turns to share their response to the last question: What is one thing we absolutely need to do to successfully launch our idea in September?
To view the team’s responses in the large group sharing, please go to the Annex below or click here | | 7. Gratitude and Appreciation Circle | Anthea then facilitated a gratitude and appreciation circle activity whereby everyone present stood in a circle and reflected on these two points:
    1. Who is one person I’m grateful for in this collective? 2. What am I hopeful for/looking forward to? | | 8. Check-Out Activity | Anthea then facilitated a check-out activity whereby everyone shared one word that best described how they were feeling at the moment. | | 9. Brief Sharing on Next Steps | Vincent shared an update to the collective about the next session in September. ****
The next session will be held on the 18th of September 2022 and will be a big exhibition where all teams will have a chance to pitch to potential funders, the government, various stakeholders, the media and the public to launch it for their 6 month prototyping. |
